Description

Stainless Steel, Ceramic Hybrid, Orange Sealed bearings are specially designed for any application seeking a high precision, free spinning bearing. These are the true secret weapon for serious rc racers and long distance casters. ABEC 7 tolerances makes the Orange Seal line the closest precision tolerance that Boca Bearings has to offer. The removable, non-contact rubber seals results in a bearing with less drag and that requires less maintenance than a typical shielded bearing. The Grade 5 ceramic Si3N4 balls will allow the bearing to be lighter and spin 50% faster than a traditional steel bearing.     I have a couple sets of these. I put them in and my willingness to remove brake was apparent when I decided to go with only 1 brake engaged and fine tune the backlash. It casts like launching a missile. The reel sings like its finally free. It has more but I like it the way it is now. I cleaned and polished a few key parts and all my reels scream now. Feels good to have extra when I want it. Regular casting is done with much less energy, I can fish all day

    Installed a set of ABEC-7s in a 2007 Curado and a 1995 Chronarch. The curado feels extremely smooth and free spools forever. The Chronarch was a big improvement as well, easily noticeable the first time I took it out.

    Well worth it... some of the best money you can spend on your fishing gear.

    ABEC-7 bearings in Shimano Curado 300 EJ, Chronarch 50E, and Chronarch 200E7 reels  
    I have installed ABEC-7 bearings in 5 Shimano baitcasting reels and the difference was immediately noticeable. All my reels are easier to cast and enable me to launch lures like a rocket! Assistance, service, and shipping was awesome. Every new reel I purchase gets ABEC-7 Orange seal bearings now.

    Abec 7 Orange Seal Bearings  
    Over the years, I've replaced all the stock bearings in my Shimano reels (Chronarch, Calcutta, and Curados) with these bearings and never had to look back. The new performance was outstanding! For long distance reels like the Abu 6500 series, the extra distance was really needs to reach fish beyond the sandbars on the beach. Whether freshwater or saltwater, the bearings make a considerable dchznge to the operation of my reels. I've even replaced my old plastic bushings in my reel handles with Boca Bearings. Talk about smooth reeling!
