If you love classic gear with a clever twist, the Abu Ambassadeur 7000C Synchro is a reel to appreciate. It’s a unique variant in the 7000 series, featuring a “Synchro” drag concept that feels similar to a lever drag in its ability to quickly adjust drag within a set range. That makes it great for on-the-fly control when a fish surges and you need instant, predictable drag changes without fumbling.

! Recently we have made the first of out two battery boxes out of a .50cal ammo can. This was chosen as an alternative to a custom battery box because they are cheap, readily available, water resistant, and of solid steel construction, so it ticked all the boxes for significantly cheaper than making a custom battery box.

As of right now, the air hockey machine is undergoing some 3D printed part reevaluation, as the original files for the project were not compatible with my version of the project. The original pieces are to go with the original dimensions of the walls used, but since I went with a different approach, the 3D parts that I already printed had to be adjusted and reprinted.

The instructions that come included with this car are extremely detailed and all of the files have the ability to print with no supports, saving a large portion of filament from being wasted. The website also indicates the recommended electronics, making the assembly of the car far more streamlined than having to guess which parts would be ideal.
