Description

Ceramic Orange Seal Fishing Reel bearing kits are an upgrade replacement to stock fishing reel bearings. These ABEC #7 bearings have ceramic balls with stainless steel races and retainers. Orange Seal bearings have a non-contact rubber seal which allows the bearing to spin freely with out any excess drag. Ceramic will never corrode; it has less rolling resistance and is lighter and than steel. As a result ceramic bearings last longer and cast longer. All Ceramic Orange Seal fishing reel bearings are cleaned of oil and grease and are lube dry (LD)

    This bearing kit also works for the original calcutta 50 and will allow you to replace the factory cast control bushing with a bearing. With the kit installed and a drop of ardent bearing oil on all of the bearings my casts improved about 15 yards over the old factory bearings. Not too noisy like some have stated but maybe since the calcuttas are built like tanks they muffle the noise a bit. I also replaced the smal 3x6x2 bearing on the main shaft with an abec 5 bearing from boca so now i can say all bearings in this reel are brand new. Reel is better than new now!

    First I would like to say that my first contact with the Boca bearing folks was handled by a woman that went above and beyond what she had to help me. I called in regards to a set of bearings for a conquest 50, she said that the person that was an expert had just went out to lunch, but she would try and help. To me she was the expert; I had been going over the bearing list supplied by Boca and had over looked what Package I needed, she promptly found the three (3) bearing kit for me and did it in a very pleasant way, I'm just sorry I can't remember her name.

    I have at least eight reels with Boca bearings, and I (sense the last order) use your lightning oil. The bearings give me confidence in that I have taken steps to insure that my reels will be at their optimum when I'm on the water. It is a small price to have this feeling of confidence, when we fishermen will buy hard baits that can and do exceed 20 $ and much more. Bass anglers go to great lengths to enhance their chances; we buy custom painted baits, to replacing quality hooks with what we feel are even better hooks, thus I can't understand why more anglers are not investing in the cost of a couple of packs of treble hooks for a ceramic bearing!

    I had received the bearings, it really make my reel more smoother than before. Love it so much, thank you Boca Bearing.
